Welcome to the Youra Addict website. Welcome to youth and adults who suffer under the albatross of chemical dependence. The site is linked to addicts, dope websites, YouTube videos, medical support and pathways to recovery.

This website takes a fundamentally different approach to addiction than the government's "Just Say No" mantra. For 30 years the United States government, through its Drug Enforcement Agency, has been jamming its admittedly failed Just say 'No' policies down the throats of its citizens. Drug users are treated as worthless creatures who are better off shunned than helped. Society sticks up its nose at druggies as morally inferior, bad people, who should pay in hell for their nasty habits.

This site see the world of addiction much differently. Community organizers, members of the medical community and business executives are joining together to treat addiction for what it really is – a disease. Supporters of this effort reach out to addicts and their families to offer help, safety and support.

Community, medical and business leaders volunteer to sponsor youth with education, experience and recovery programs. 

• COMMUNITY: YXPlosion is a community program in central California to help youth cope, grow and exceed.

• BUSINESS: Youra Network, Youra Addict and Youra Bot are three programs with business sponsors to help integrate youth into real world experiences of enterprise and growth.

• MEDICAL: Physicians and medical professionals with specialties in addiction offer treatment.

The programs are out of the norm. From integrating youth in real world experiences to providing safety for suffering addicts, volunteers are supported by funds and contributions from non profit organizations, grants and employers.

Much more is needed to expand the program. More volunteers and more funds are requested and greatly appreciated.
